i have never been to botswana before and i have to say that i had an incredible time. sometimes the animals were extremely close to our car, so i often wasn’t able to take pictures – too scared to hold the camera! after five days in the moremi game reserve, we flew to cape town, an amazing city. i’ll show you some pictures soon.

i’m trying not to talk too much about the weather, but the indian summer is incredibly beautiful. everybody enjoys the warm weather outside, the streets are still full with lots of people.

this friday i’m flying to south africa for twelve days – can’t wait to see lions, giraffes, zebras and tigers. please no spiders!! i’ll take my camera with me, and you will see some pictures when i’m back home. there is no space for my computer in my back pack – it’s full with bug repellant and sun cream.

next to this fountain is a yummy restaurant, which i often visit for lunch on saturday. since my schedule is quite busy at the moment, i haven’t been here for a long time. however, this is also a nice place if the restaurant is closed. i like the architecture in the heart of zurich – it’s quite impressive.

i saw this tiny bird on a flea market and i knew that it would be a perfect fit for the shirt i recently got from h&m. so i sewed my blue tweety on it and the shirt was ready to wear.

fall is arriving soon – even though the weather is pretty nice – and i’m trying to keep myself away from all the beautiful boots, coats, jumpers, scarf, and and and. it’s better to invest the money in food, it makes you happy too!

thanks to my sister, my little owl collection grew a bit. yay! i have no idea why i’m constantly buying owl accessories. maybe they just gaze at me with their huge eyes and say: buy me, buy me!!!

now, my vacation time is over and i’m ready to work. hello working world, bye bye holidays.

i spent the weekend in locarno at the film festival. locarno is a gorgeous city in the south of switzerland – the people in this region speak italian, so it was my chance to use my perfect italian ;0 ! visiting this part of switzerland is like going to another country. the main reason why i feel that way is because of the different vegetation and climate. the strange thing about it is, locarno is just 200km away from zurich – crazy!

now, i’m back home and ready for monday. hope you guys are ready too!?
